Tambour chain stitch with ombre threads on silk organdie
Striping back extraneous detail, this piece was a challenge to ‘sell’ the effect using only two threads and one stitch. By choosing ombre threads, plenty of movement and interest is able to be maintained whilst stitching within the set parameters.
